The McMilan Heart Foundation (MHF) is a registered charitable organisation dedicated to uplifting underserved communities across Sri Lanka. Our mission is rooted in compassion, guided by service, and driven by a deep belief in equal opportunity for all.

Founded in 2025 by Anton McMilan Prasanthraja, a professionally qualified Engineer and passionate humanitarian, MHF builds on years of informal charity work that began in 2020, now transformed into a structured movement for social good.

Our Founder

Anton McMilan Prasanthraja is an Engineer with advanced degrees in Engineering and Management, and a long-standing commitment to humanitarian work. Alongside his professional career in the engineering sector, he began charitable work in 2020, supporting students, families, and communities in need across Northern Sri Lanka.

Recognising the growing needs in post-conflict and low-income regions, Anton established the McMilan Heart Foundation in 2025 to formally coordinate and expand his outreach. Under his leadership, MHF now delivers targeted, community-based projects focused on education, health, and sustainability.

• Support environmental sustainability via tree planting and eco-projects.
• Develop youth leadership and volunteerism.

Our Core Projects

 Cycle to School – MHF Campaign

Providing bicycles to schoolchildren from low-income families to reduce absenteeism and improve access to education. (Target: 25 bicycles in 2025)

 Green Future – MHF Environmental Drive

Planting trees and raising eco-awareness in schools and communities. (135+ trees planted so far)

 Community Outreach & Welfare

Supporting families in crisis with food, essentials, school supplies, and medical support.

Our Impact

Since 2020, and especially following MHF’s official registration in 2025, we have:

• Donated bicycles to children from remote regions.
• Provided educational supplies and uniforms to schoolchildren.
• Planted over 135 trees across Northern Sri Lanka.
• Delivered hands-on aid to families and schools in need.
